Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an armed, driving officer who helps monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with professional customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift while contributing to a caring and innovative culture.

Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri08:00 PM - 04:00 AMSat08:00 PM - 04:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related issues.
- Monitor access points and property activity, assist with authorized entry procedures, and communicate with local management and/or emergency responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
