Davis' Automotive Service is a *locally owned and operated automotive repair shop located in downtown Vanderhoof*. For the past three years, we have built our reputation on honest service, quality workmanship, and strong customer relationships. As our business continues to grow we are excited to be opening our new location.We are looking for a skilled *Red Seal Automotive Service Technician* to join our team. *The position is available immediately.*
*Responsibilities*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Complete suspension, steering, brake, engine, A/C, and drivability repairs.
* Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
* Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
* Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.
* Assist with training and mentoring apprentice technicians.
*Qualifications*
* *Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification preferred.*
* Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
* Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, scan tools, and modern vehicle systems.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Valid driver's license and clean driver’s abstract less than 30 days old.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
*Compensation*
*$25.00–$40.00 per hour*, depending on experience, qualifications, and certification.
*Schedule*
*Monday to Friday8:00 AM – 5:00 PM*(Excluding statutory holidays)
