Mission

Ready to make a difference? In this role, your key responsibility will be to coordinate all aspects of transportation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You’ll analyze our current practices to identify areas for improvement and optimize our processes. In addition to managing customs documents and permits, you’ll provide support to the receiving and inventory teams. Thanks to your attention to detail and expertise, your direct contribution will ensure customer satisfaction and have a tangible impact on our supply chain!


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise receiving, warehousing, shipping, and transportation activities
  • Ensure effective inventory management and data accuracy
  • Optimize the flow of goods and logistics processes
  • Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
  • Supervise, motivate, and support the employees under your supervision
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes
  • Develop and implement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing costs
  • Participate in identifying areas for improvement in processes and infrastructure
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor operational and logistics projects
  • Establish timelines, budgets, and action plans
  • Coordinate internal and external resources involved in projects
  • Monitor risks, challenges, and deliverables
  • Present project progress to management/sponsors and make recommendations

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll be successful in this role:

  • 2 to 5 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
  • College diploma (DEC) or attestation (AEC) in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong command of French, both spoken and written, and functional English proficiency
  • Strong ability to manage priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid analytical and continuous improvement skills
