The Role An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Telford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026 on a supply basis. The successful candidate will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, sustainability, and global challenges. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Geography, encouraging enquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and the development of strong geographical knowledge and skills. The role will involve planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Working alongside a supportive Humanities team, you will contribute to ensuring students are challenged, engaged, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
The Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold QTS or be an ECT Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 Be confident delivering GCSE Geography content Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement Have a passion for Geography and developing students’ understanding of the world around them
