The
Equipment Prep Associate
is responsible for the identification of assets, inspecting trucks and trailers, and interior components and ensures inventory tracking and repair documentation.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Saturdays as needed)
Responsibilities:
Inspect trucks and trailers to identify defects. Track and accurately bill inventory. Input repair documentation into maintenance software system to track completion of repairs. Inspect unit interior and replace any damaged parts- seats, dash panels, arm rests, etc. Install wiper blades. Remove decals on trucks and trailers leaving no residue in a clean and efficient manner Assist in the out servicing and in servicing of equipment- both tractor and trailer Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational/technical school preferred. General knowledge of mechanical work preferred. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and within a team setting. Ability to use hand tools. Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Prolonged periods of standing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception. Work Environment
Indoor and Outdoor environment. Employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions including direct sunlight & heat. Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme cold and extreme heat. Employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Job Benefits:
