The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Manage facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations for the facilities.
- Administer contracts for facility services, utilities, and external vendors.
- Optimize space utilization and layout to support efficient manufacturing operations.
- Manage the facilities budget, controlling costs and identifying areas for savings.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and facility management software.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety standards relevant to manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
- Experience in managing and optimizing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or equivalent credential.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for facility management.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
