We are passionate about creating a secure digital environment and are looking for a Principal Backend Engineer who shares our vision and values. Position Overview As a Principal Backend Engineer , you will play a key role in designing and developing robust applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will leverage your expertise to create scalable, serverless architectures that drive our cybersecurity solutions. This position is ideal for someone eager for growth, embraces ambiguity, and is excited to help set the technical vision for the team. Our Values Low Ego Empathy for the Customer Passion for the Problem Learning & Accountability Key Responsibilities Architecture & Development : Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using technologies like AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Redshift, ensuring high performance and reliability. DevOps Implementation : Lead efforts in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for smooth integration and deployment. Collaboration : Work closely with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and implement features that enhance user experience and security. Event-Driven Architecture : Implement microservices and event-driven architectures to improve scalability and maintainability. Mentorship : Act as a technical mentor to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Technical Leadership : Collaborate with leadership to define the technical direction, balancing speed, innovation, and quality. Must Have Skills Backend Languages : Experience with any backend language, preferably Python, especially at scale. Experience with microservices and event-driven systems. Experience with cloud architecture, preferably AWS or GCP. Proven experience in building DevOps frameworks, not just using existing tools. Background in architectural design for scalable applications. A hunger for growth and a desire to work in a low-ego environment. Preferred Skills Cybersecurity experience, ideally in a startup environment. Experience with SIEMs and GraphDBs. Experience collaborating with product and design teams to develop user-centric applications. Travel readiness for client engagements or team retreats.
