Application Analyst I – Kids Are Our Everything (Department 10580, Business Systems) Children’s National Hospital’s Information Technology team supports pediatric care through innovative technology solutions. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining applications used for patient care and revenue cycle operations. Responsibilities Provide support to internal users of Children’s National applications and ensure maximum efficiency in their use. Respond to requests for support, troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of applications. Log defects against applications and follow up with development teams and vendors. Monitor future application releases and provide user training on new features. Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions. Collaborate with the IT team to perform system testing and quality assurance checks. Assist in the implementation of updates and new features in applications. Participate in train‑the‑trainer sessions to ensure efficient usage of applications and help train end‑users. Qualifications Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (required). Minimum work experience: 1 year of application support experience (required). Basic understanding of healthcare and revenue cycle workflows. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative team player. Ability to execute projects with minimal supervision and remain resilient to change. Excellent listener, capable of providing and receiving candid feedback. Demonstrates high personal integrity and the ability to remain composed in high‑pressure situations. Pay Range Pay range: $73,195.20 – $121,971.20. Salary is determined by market conditions, organizational needs, and the candidate’s qualifications.
