Job Description
You will be a Cyber Software Engineer, EMBEDDED in the Program Protection Organization. Our organization oversees all aspects of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity across Missiles and Fire Control. We are chartered with providing the skills and innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain secure products across our Lines of Business.
What You Will Be Doing As the Cyber Software Engineer you will be responsible for supporting a broad range of challenges in a dynamic team environment and the ability to work with Cyber Exploitation Engineers, Cyber System Security Engineers and system engineers across Lockheed Martin MFC to develop new exploitation software tools, and maintain current capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Leverage your technical, and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional engineering Team environment. Employ a high level of productivity and responsiveness, especially for time-critical requirements, with a team-oriented approach to interface with team members. Support exploitation testing to improve integrity and security of weapon system environments. Support testing and related activities across a wide variety of platforms and technologies using advanced techniques and methodologies, such as embedded hardware, electronic warfare, radio frequency, etc.

Basic Qualifications
High availability development, fault tolerance software and RMF compliance with Fortify
Full lifecycle application development
Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages (C/C++, Python, Shell Scripting)
Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, interface design
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
Knowledge of development of Cybersecurity requirements
*Must possess (or be able to obtain within six months of employment start date) a DoD 8570.01-M certification (Security+, CISSP)*
A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Desired skills
Supporting a broad range of challenges in a dynamic team environment and the ability to work with Cyber Exploitation Engineers, Cyber System Security Engineers and system engineers across Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control to develop new exploitation software tools and maintain current capabilities
Git
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
Knowledge of development of Cybersecurity requirements
Designing, development, documents, testing, and maintaining full spectrum cyber solutions
Developing and automating secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense and full spectrum cyber operations
Conducting vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams)
Developing and integrating low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements
Embedded Systems knowledge to conduct research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,900 - $184,920. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,600 - $209,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
