In this role, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the team, deliver excellent customer service, and help ensure the store runs efficiently and profitably.This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities to grow into higher-level management positions. This is an in-person position.What You’ll Do* Drive sales performance and meet revenue goals* Build and maintain strong customer relationships* Address customer concerns quickly and professionally* Support hiring, training, and scheduling of team members* Assist with inventory management and merchandising* Maintain accurate records and daily reports* Reconcile transactions and manage cash handling processes* Help implement local marketing and promotional initiatives* Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations* Support overall store operations and team performanceTraining & DevelopmentYou’ll receive hands-on training and be cross-trained in all aspects of store operations, preparing you for future leadership opportunities within the company. Requirements/Responsibilities Requirements* Strong organizational and time management skills* Proven sales and customer service abilities* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to resolve customer concerns and handle conflict professionally* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail* Ability to learn and effectively use point-of-sale (POS) systems* Professional appearance and conduct* Reliable with consistent attendance, including evenings and weekends as needed* Must meet eligibility requirements to operate a company vehicle (including driving record and insurability requirements)Education & Experience* At least 2 years of experience in retail, sales, or a customer-focused environment* Experience in account management, merchandising, or Rent-to-Own industry is a plusPhysical Requirements* Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise using equipment (items may weigh up to 300 lbs with assistance)* Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting* Ability to navigate stairs while handling furniture, appliances, and electronics* Comfortable with extended periods of standing and driving* Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditionsAdditional InformationBuddy’s Home Furnishings is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free WorkplaceEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, including driving record and drug screening
