Ter versterking van het bestaande team in Anzegem zijn zij op zoek naar een Product Development & Innovation Engineer.
Functieomschrijving
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het implementeren, finetunen en troubleshooten van nieuwe producten van ontwikkeling tot implementatie in productie.
- Je speelt een essentiële rol in het vertalen van specifieke klantvragen naar innovatieve productontwikkelingen en procesoptimalisaties.
- Je fungeert als de cruciale brug tussen de labo’s, externe partners en de productieafdeling; je staat met de voeten in de praktijk (geen louter theoretische R&D).
- Je signaleert trends en innovaties binnen de foaming-industrie met strategische impact.
- Je werkt nauw samen met Operations in Anzegem (Hoofdkantoor) en streeft naar een synergie met de verschillende sites binen de groep.
- Je stelt investeringsanalyses en business cases op voor nieuwe projecten, waarbij je de financiële haalbaarheid en de operationele voordelen bewaakt.
- Je bent bereid tot incidentele verplaatsingen naar klanten, vakbeurzen of onze faciliteiten in het buitenland (o.a. Polen, Roemenië).
- Je rapporteert aan de Group R&D Director, met een nauwe dagelijkse samenwerking en afstemming met de Plant Manager.
- Je genoot een hogere opleiding in een chemische richting
- Je beschikt over een eerste ervaring binnen productontwikkeling en/of productie.
- Diepgaande kennis van polymeren, extrusie en/of foam-technologieën is een sterke troef.
- Je voelt je comfortabel in een rol waar niet alles vooraf vastligt en neemt zelf initiatief om structuren, processen en oplossingen uit te werken.
- Je neemt eigenaarschap over je verantwoordelijkheden en wacht niet op een strak afgelijnd takenpakket om impact te maken.
- Je bent een communicatieve duizendpoot die vlot schakelt tussen verschillende niveaus en afdelingen; je weet mensen te overtuigen en mee te krijgen in jouw visie.
- Je bent analytisch en projectmatig ingesteld, maar verliest de praktische uitvoerbaarheid nooit uit het oog (hands-on).
- Je bent stressbestendig en sterk in ad-hoc trouble shooting; je kunt de juiste prioriteiten stellen in een dynamische omgeving.
- Je beheerst het Nederlands uitstekend, Frans is een groot pluspunt.
