Position Summary Data Engineer – Richardson, TX. Develop, build and manage large-scale data structures, pipelines and efficient ETL workflows to address complex problems and support business applications. Key duties include designing data structures, writing ETL processes, developing tools for real‑time and offline analytics, collaborating with Data Science on automation, maintaining and troubleshooting systems, leveraging Hadoop architecture, building robust data pipelines in Python or Java, creating data marts, integrating data from diverse sources, assessing IT environments, experimenting with tools, building scalable pipelines with Generative AI, developing full‑stack web applications (React, TypeScript, Python microservices), and integrating machine learning capabilities for predictive analytics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.
Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Java, Python, Python Flask, Python Django, or Node.js; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Cloud technologies (Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform); Teradata; Docker or Kubernetes; SQL, MySQL, or NoSQL; GCP Vertex AI, GCP Agent Engine, Google Agent Development Kit; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Domain support for healthcare or retail organizations; Writing application code and deploying to production.
Experience developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions.
Experience building data engineering pipelines using Apache Airflow, Pub/Sub streaming, and security architecture.
Pay Range Annual salary: $157,414.00 – $157,414.00. The base offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position is eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive programs and an equity award target.
