Geisinger's Department of Urology is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join its innovative, collaborative, and nationally recognized team. Position Highlights

Community & Location --

State College, located in Centre County, Pennsylvania, is home to Penn State University and was recently named America's #1 Best Small College Town by USA Today. The area offers:

  • NCAA Division I athletics, concerts, festivals, and cultural events

  • Excellent dining, arts, and nightlife

  • Easy access to hiking, fishing, trails, and outdoor recreation

  • Convenient travel via University Park Airport (5 miles from town) and access to Interstates 80 and 99

Practice Mode

  • Approximately 50/50 split between Lewistown and Gray's Woods

  • Many physicians live in Boalsburg or Centre Hall, offering:

    • 10-15 minute commute to Gray's Woods

    • 20- 25 minute commute to Lewistown

Technology & Scope of Practice

  • Robotic surgery platforms, including robot access at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital

  • High-powered lasers

  • Transperitoneal and fusion biopsies

  • Epic electronic health record system

Call Schedule

  • No weekend call

Academic Opportunities

  • Participation in clinical research encouraged and supported

  • Mentorship and professional development within a multidisciplinary academic team

Candidate Qualifications

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
