Data Product Owner – Data & Analytics About the Role We are looking for a curious, hands-on, and business-focused Data Product Owner to help drive the next generation of Data & Analytics solutions for our clients.
This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping transform business needs into high-quality analytics, reporting, data products, and AI-powered solutions.
The ideal candidate enjoys learning new business domains, working closely with both business and technical teams, solving complex problems, and taking ownership of delivering meaningful business outcomes.
This is not a people management role and not a project management role. Instead, this role focuses on understanding business objectives, defining requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.

What You’ll Do Product Ownership & Business Analysis
Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, priorities, and success criteria.
Gather, document, and refine business and data requirements.
Define user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes.
Help prioritize enhancements and product capabilities based on business value.
Data & Analytics
Support reporting, analytics, dashboard, data platform, and data product initiatives.
Work with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand data flows, business rules, and solution designs.
Validate that delivered solutions align with business expectations and provide measurable value.
Collaboration & Solution Delivery
Work closely with business analysts, architects, developers, QA teams, and data engineers.
Help translate business needs into actionable requirements.
Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to drive clarity and alignment.
Support solution reviews, testing, and business validation activities.
Innovation & Growth
Participate in the evolution of traditional reporting solutions into modern Data Products.
Support AI-assisted and specification-driven delivery initiatives.
Contribute ideas that improve delivery quality, business value, and user experience.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data & Analytics, Solution Consulting, Technical Product Ownership, or related roles.
Experience gathering and documenting business and data requirements.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Working knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics solutions.
Ability to understand and review SQL queries, data mappings, and reporting requirements.
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to learn new business domains and technologies quickly.
Must be located within commuting distance of New Jersey.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting BioPharma Commercial Analytics, Sales Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Customer Analytics, Patient Services Analytics, or similar business functions.
Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar technologies.
Experience working with Agile delivery teams.
Interest or experience in Data Products, AI-assisted development, Generative AI, Snowflake Intelligence, Anthropic Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
Experience supporting Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or other data-driven industries.
