A career as a Senior Trading Support Analyst in the Capital Markets Operations team at National Bank means acting as an over-the-counter (OTC) operations specialist. In this role, you will have a tangible impact on the quality, compliance, and efficiency of operations through your expertise in derivative products, operational processes, and continuous improvement.


Your role

  • Support traders and sales teams for OTC derivative products
  • Ensure accurate representation of OTC transactions in various operational systems
  • Contribute to the integration of new products, regulatory requirements, and technologies into operations
  • Coordinate, validate, and secure transaction settlements in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Contribute to analysis, testing, and implementation activities related to operational projects
  • Develop, produce, and enhance reports and procedures to optimize existing processes

Your team

Within the Capital Markets Operations sector, you will be part of a team of 140 colleagues specialized in OTC products and report to the Senior Manager, Trading Support. Prerequisites

  • College diploma (DEC) with 6 to 7 years of experience OR bachelor’s degree with 3 to 4 years of experience OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in capital markets operations
  • Knowledge of specialized systems (Murex, Swift, ISM, Bloomberg, or Reuters)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, automation)
  • Knowledge of derivative products and/or securities lending
  • Experience managing and resolving complex financial transactions
