The Role Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the senior management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day financial management of the business.
Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting within tight deadlines.
Manage treasury activities, including rolling cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
Support financial planning and analysis by developing meaningful reports and insights using Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools.
Provide timely financial analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making across the business.
Manage day-to-day finance activities including accounts receivable, payment processing, bank reconciliations and expense management.
Prepare and submit VAT, VIES, Intrastat and other statutory returns in line with regulatory requirements.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process.
Collaborate with operations, logistics and commercial teams to support the efficient delivery of business objectives.
About You The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (desirable but not essential).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships across the business.
A genuine desire to learn, develop and continuously improve.
