DATA SECURITY ANALYST
We are seeking a Data Security Analyst. This role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's cyber security programs, protecting company systems and data from security threats, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. This position works closely with internal teams and external vendors to monitor, analyze, and improve the company's security posture.

Since 1905, Elliott-Lewis and its family of companies have a reputation of being a premier provider of Mechanical Services, Facilities Management, and Crane Rentals. Comprised of four sister companies, our IT team supports each line of business to ensure timely and accurate assistance.
Responsibilities
• Oversee email and web filtering (program used is called Forcepoint). • Report trends and observations from the filtering program for department leadership to review. • Oversee the company's Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software, and our Managed Detection and Response software (MDR). oThese are security platforms (programs used are SentinelOne and Adlumen) • Monitor and audit Multifactor Authentication (MFA) compliance (program used is called Duo Mobile). • Administer the company's penetration testing program (ELCO has not bought a program for this yet). • Administer the company's social engineering simulation program (program used is called KnowBe4). Includes enrolling end users into additional training programs following poor scores in simulation testing. • Act as liaison between our company and outside security vendors for updates, alerts, and notifications on threats.
Required Skills
• Must hold a bachelors degree in Computer Sciences with a concentration in Cyber Security. • For this entry-level role, internship experience in an organization supporting core IT functions and operations. • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate problems and collaborate for solutions.
Preferred Skills
• Real world experience of a ransomware and/or malware attack greatly valued but not required for consideration.
