About Your New Job As the Technical Services Manager, you will: Lead and manage all engineering and technical services across the hospital, including maintenance, utilities, plant, and infrastructure.
Ensure delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programs, minimizing disruption to clinical services.
Oversee the performance of the Engineering Supervisor and Facilities Administrator, and manage all contractors to maintain compliance, safety, and efficiency.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and critical incidents, ensuring timely solutions.
Provide technical leadership during risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Support capital projects, infrastructure planning, and manage technical services budgets.
What Skills You Need Significant experience in a healthcare or highly regulated engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of building services (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, medical gases, water systems) and healthcare standards (e.g., JCI, HIQA, HTM).
Proven experience managing maintenance teams and engineering contractors.
Demonstrated expertise in compliance, risk management, audit readiness, and budget control.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems.
What's on Offer Competitive salary: €80,000 €90,000 DOE.
Monday to Friday role (9am5pm) with some flexibility required.
