Site Manager Residential Projects Cork City A Site Manager is required for a well-established Main Building Contractor to work on a 500+ unit residential project in Douglas, Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager to join a reputable company and take a key role in overseeing the delivery of large-scale housing developments.
The successful candidate will have strong experience working with main contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident in managing all aspects of the site.
Duties: Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Monitor quality control and compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and company standards.
Assist with planning and scheduling construction activities, including resource allocation and site logistics.
Maintain detailed site records and produce progress reports for senior management and clients.
Ensure health & safety standards are implemented and adhered to at all times.
Lead site meetings and liaise with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders.
Mentor and support junior site staff and engineers.
Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 57 years experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Engineer on residential or building projects in Ireland or the UK.
Proven experience managing large housing developments or multi-unit projects.
Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and site management software.
Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
Full driving licence.
