Job Summary Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support for the Catering Sales Department.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Answer telephones, emails, and direct inquiries in a professional and client-focused manner.
Maintain confidential personnel/client files.
Assist management staff in preparing confidential documentation.
Maintains and supports continued positive client and partner relationships.
Work effectively and accurately to meet deadlines.
Create and distribute BEOs to team.
Assist in preparing for Operations meetings.
Review BEOs to ensure accurate financials.
Manage orders, inventory, and hourly union staff during events.
Prepare end of month financial reports for colleagues and partner.
Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
Upkeep catering sales office tidiness and organization.
Create custom signage as needed for events.
Experience with Canva and Cricut ideal
Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Lift up to 25lbs
Sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to work efficiently, adapt to changes as they arise, and be solution-focused.
Ability and willingness to learn event and creative software systems for daily job functions.
Extended exposure to computer screen(s).
Ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion.
Keep confidentiality.
Ability to work regular daytime weekday hours as well as nights and weekends as needed for event support.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to keep composure and respond professional in high-stress and evolving environments.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects and tasks.
Willingness to engage and interact with colleagues, clients, and partners.
