Dear Media is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our Lead Graphic Designer to support the network's design needs across Social, Production, Sales, and Editorial. We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented designer who is excited to share their creative input, bring fresh perspectives to the table, and help contribute to the visual evolution of the Dear Media brand.
This role is ideal for a designer eager to grow within a fast-paced media environment, gaining exposure to both creative concept development and the execution of established brand systems.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media Content: Create engaging social assets for various shows on the network and maintain graphic templates for marketing initiatives.
Production Cover Art Development: Work alongside the Lead Graphic Designer to take passes at cover art exploration and concept development for new podcasts.
Sales & Pitch Deck Support: Assist in updating and designing company decks and marketing collateral for Sales and Dear Media brand initiatives.
Editorial Support: Source and select high-quality imagery for our editorial website.
New Show Launches: Build out digital & production assets for show launches, such as social assets, web banners, title cards, and thumbnails aligned with each show’s cover art.
Brand Identity: Bring fresh creative ideas and visual trends to the table to help keep Dear Media’s social and marketing presence innovative and elevated.
Basic Qualifications
1-3 years of professional design experience.
Technical Proficiency: High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Design Fundamentals: A strong eye for layout, typography, color theory, and current pop culture & media design trends.
Collaboration & Feedback: Must be able to receive and execute constructive feedback in a collaborative team environment, handling edit requests smoothly throughout the design process.
Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail to ensure accuracy before final assets are approved.
Preferred/Bonus Skills: Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro are not required but are a big plus.
