Penn State Health - Penn State Health Medical Group LLC Location: US:PA: Lancaster Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.00 Shift: Varied Hours: Varied Recruiter Contact: Monica Echeverri at mecheverri@pennstatehealth.psu.edu (MAILTO://mecheverri@pennstatehealth.psu.edu) SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the team physician, and in accordance with the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Practice Act, the Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing athletic training services to student-athletes in the secondary school setting. This includes providing preventative measures appropriately, standard immediate care procedures used in emergency situations, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation/reconditioning of injuries. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor’s Degree
Licensed in the state of employment as an Athletic Trainer
Current BOC certification
Current CPR certification
PIAA Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Minimum two (2) years experience preferred, however entry-level graduates with BOC certification are encouraged to apply.
