Compensation $33.52 - $49.18 hourly
Schedule Full‑time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Integrate data from multiple sources and systems, applying statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to identify data trends and relationships, and recommend actionable business solutions that impact the agency.
Research complex data requests and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to create dashboards that help Ohio State Highway Patrol management identify new data trends and recommend solutions.
Maintain, create, and regularly update all current internal and public‑facing dashboards for OSHP.
Utilize Tableau Prep software to combine and clean data sources and create data flows used in Tableau Desktop.
Extract data from multiple sources and databases to produce insights for decision‑making.
Qualifications
48 months of experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, or research methods; or completion of an associate core program in data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, industrial/systems engineering, or related field, with 30 months of experience; or completion of an undergraduate core program with 24 months of experience; or completion of a graduate core program with 12 months of experience; or 36 months as a Data Analytics Associate; or equivalent of the minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
Strong analytical, attention‑to‑detail, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Tableau (Prep and Desktop) and other business intelligence tools.
