Responsibilities As an Outside Sales Rep, you’ll understand Orkin’s products and services and sell them to a variety of industries. You’ll propose strategic recommendations, help customers prevent pests, uphold quality and safety, and satisfy regulatory standards. You’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships.
Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
Act with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
Serve as an empathetic problem solver, recommending innovative solutions for commercial customers
Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads
Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development
Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of the customer’s commercial property
Make recommendations based on inspections and address any questions, explaining solutions and setting expectations
Use the iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated first‑year earnings:
$60,000–$120,000 USD annually
Base plus uncapped commission

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
No experience required; sales experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients
Physical Demands / Working Conditions Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity
Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Wear PPE, sometimes requiring an OSHA‑compliant respirator
Work in different weather conditions
