The SOC (Security Operations Center) Security Analyst will be assigned to further the security mission within the client’s Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The SOC Security Analyst is responsible for delivering operations within the GPS control room across all client sites in the respective region. They will work with the client’s leadership to ensure operational best practices to ensure the physical safety and security of our people, buildings, and assets.
As a SOC Security Analyst, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Work schedule: 11 PM - 7 AM, Saturday through Wednesday
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Specialist The SOC Specialist supports monitoring and response to internal and external security events with potential impact on senior leadership, staff, business assets, reputation, and facilities.
Assists in conducting video patrols, monitoring security camera feeds, and investigating security alarms.
Contributes to the analysis of security incidents and monitoring of open-source media for security-related events.
Provides support in executing security policies, maintaining physical security systems, and communicating significant matters to the management team.
Assists in monitoring internal and external security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Supports monitoring of open-source media for security-related events and potential impacts.
Provides timely and accurate information to support the protection of people, assets, intellectual property, and facilities.
Follows security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and contributes to process improvement.
Assists in monitoring and maintaining physical security systems.
Documents and communicates relevant information to support decision‑making processes.
Communicates effectively with peers, partners, customers, and employees.
Participates in the continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.
Maintains awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Position requires sitting, heavy phone usage, and screen exposure for extended periods.
Must be flexible with schedules and willing to work holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
Potentially high‑stress environment with exposure to multiple aspects of emergency incidents.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Basic knowledge of access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems.
Familiarity with incident management processes.
Analytical mindset with ability to identify and elevate critical issues.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Interest in threat intelligence platforms and tools.
Understanding of basic network security concepts and protocols.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions vary by client site.
Execute RSOC and GSOC standard operating procedures, operating the SOC in shift patterns as required.
Provide high‑level service to local and remote client sites and staff with emphasis on the security and safety of client staff, assets, and information.
Monitor operational network video cameras and operate SOC technologies including network video and access control.
Coordinate direct action and responses to incidents and alarm activation.
Compile reports for the SOC Shift Manager to share with GPS management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis; provide high‑quality written and verbal reports as required.
Take telephone inquiries; maintain accurate logs of events.
Actively monitor and respond to critical systems alarms such as physical security systems alarms, fire panels, and more.
Deliver world‑class Global Security services by understanding and working closely with technical security implementations and incident management programs.
Serve as an initial point of contact in emergency situations that may affect the health and safety of employees.
Communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external responders during critical incidents.
Foster cross‑organizational relationships to encourage risk information sharing across the business.
Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, offering suggestions, and exceeding expectations.
Monitor several screens, systems, and events simultaneously, shifting priorities as needed.
Minimum Requirements
At least two years of security operations experience or experience in a Global Security, Command, or similar 24x7 operations center environment.
Experience in basic security analysis, problem solving, handling preliminary inquiries, incident assessment, and triaging reports.
High proficiency in IT applications, data entry, and retrieval, with a keyboard speed of at least 25 words per minute and 75% accuracy.
Basic knowledge of technical elements associated with security systems such as IP networks, servers, LAN/WAN.
Basic working knowledge of data protection policies such as GDPR and the need to keep sensitive information secure.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to incidents, especially in emergencies, with minimal supervision.
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, handle and prioritize multiple assignments, and manage deadlines.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and able to utilize office management technology.
Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion; maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence. Able to work overtime as needed.
Current driver’s license with a clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years) and required insurance coverage.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
