Responsibilities
Understand and practice Safety Absolutes and Safety policies.
Use proper lifting when spot-checking inventory; get help if needed.
Communicate quality issues discovered to the other shifts verbally and via email.
Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily Reports.
Verify all information on the traveler.
Check colors using the Densitometer, color chips, drawdowns, Chroma QA, and Pantone.
Verify barcode scans and Chroma QA readings when applicable.
Perform required testing where applicable.
Notify Tech and QA Manager of defects, size problems, or color variances in print found on product using the NCMR database.
Watch and accept samples running on the production floor.
Clarify acceptable quality standards for packers.
Route all paperwork to be filed into appropriate folders or files.
Verify tri folders; update, approve, or create new ones when applicable.
Check for coining of lids and nesting/desktoping of containers before, during, and after packaging.
Perform any special tasks as assigned by Manager.
Disposition non‑conforming product; validate and verify all aspects of quality.
Qualifications
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Specific vision abilities: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Familiarity with the JDE system and DSI functions.
