Work Designation
If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, the role will be hybrid. You will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week and from home for the remaining portion.
If you live more than 50 miles away, the role will be remote. You will work from home, within the continental US. Occasional requests to come to the office may occur and will be communicated in advance.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
Advanced customization and extension of platform
Workflow and process automation within the platform
Integration with external systems and APIs, SSO
Performance tuning for specific platforms
Utilization of advanced modules or extensions
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
Two or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Monitors performance, resolves problems, and manages component capacity issues
Design, test, develop, configure, and maintain integrations to platform’s applications
Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging
Work closely with cross‑functional departments to communicate statuses and technical proposals
Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs
Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, and maintain platform applications to meet company requirements
Perform other duties as required
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Sponsorship will not be provided.
Total Rewards Salary range: $78,000-$115,000, based on factors such as education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range does not include incentive pay or benefits, but such information will be provided separately.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, prescription drug coverage, health care flexible spending, dependent care flexible spending, Aflac supplemental policies (Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity at no cost to employee), 401(k) plans, annual bonuses, and opportunity to purchase company stock. Additionally, 11 paid holidays, up to 20 days PTO, and state‑mandated sick leave (e.g., Washington employees accrue 1 hour per 40 hours) are provided, along with other leaves of absence as needed.
