Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed - Day Shift in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post offers the chance to support daily operations through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while working in a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to customers, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, using sound judgment and professionalism during customer interactions and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas only.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
