Responsibilities
Own and pride in performance, impacting company success in a fast‑paced environment supporting multiple software products and brands.
Automate and leverage DevOps principles, aiming for operational excellence with an infrastructure‑as‑code mindset.
Implement continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) using the latest DevOps tools and innovative methods.
Work effectively in a team as an individual contributor, comfortable in a development and operations role.
Communicate and collaborate with IT and business teams.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, or on‑prem Kubernetes.
Support application deployments across cloud and on‑prem environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across distributed and microservices‑based systems.
Apply critical thinking, problem‑solving, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
Provide help to management, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, motivating team members, and reporting team performance.
Basic Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
5+ years managing heavy‑traffic web sites with a developer focus.
Solid sizing and estimation for small‑to‑medium tasks and projects.
Infrastructure‑as‑code experience (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar).
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (APM, system vitals, synthetics, RUM).
Heavy scripting support (PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Groovy).
SQL or NoSQL database experience.
Configuring CDN for performance caching and global traffic management.
Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS and on‑prem (system & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi‑datacenters).
Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and production orchestration.
Experience with application deployment strategies (rolling, blue‑green, canary) and production troubleshooting in containerized environments.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Programming experience in Java, C#, Python, NodeJS.
Server‑less architecture methodologies.
Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation.
Mobile application support (iOS, Android).
Experience in REST API or microservices development.
Agile methodologies and short‑sprint cycles.
Experience with Kubernetes observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience managing Kubernetes deployments using Helm or similar package management.
