As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Coverage in Odessa, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening, and appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and restricted spaces for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, reporting issues according to post orders.
- Support de-escalation efforts and provide visible presence during customer interactions, deliveries, opening and closing activities, and other daily operations within the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience is required.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
