Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Master’s degree preferred.* ### Minimum of 0-3 years of experience required.* ### Working knowledge of engineering principles and design principles.* ### Good communications skills which include the ability to present and convey technical concepts both verbally and in writing.* ### Exposure to a mechanical CAD (MCAD) tools with a working knowledge.* ### Experience with Siemens NX MCAD design software and Teamcenter PLM is preferred.* ### Exposure and familiarity with analytical software tools
including but not limited to “stress analysis”
and mathematical computation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, ANSYS etc.* ### Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.### ### **As a Design Development Engineer, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:*** ### Understanding and translating project requirements emanating from a variety of sources, creating computer models, layouts, detailed engineering drawings.* ### Contributing to a cost-effective design and functional products by working closely with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.* ### Creating and checking detail drawings for completeness and accuracy, ensures the Bill of Material (Parts List) for product design is accurate and complete.* ### In conjunction with Engineering, ensures basic integrity of designs and layouts using correctness of proportionality, sizing, dimensional accuracy, tolerance limits, and conforming to Moog’s use of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) application practices.* ### Suggesting or specifying materials to conform to design requirements and assist in the selection of acceptable processing procedures.### ### **How We Care for You:*** ### Financial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* ### Work/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.* ### Health & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.* ### Professional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs* ### Culture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
