Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with project teams to develop database strategies to support company needs. Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Install, configure, and maintain database software and related tools. Monitor database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and capacity planning. Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability. Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas. Assist in database upgrades, migrations, and patches as required. Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and standards. Provide technical support and assistance to users as needed. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in database administration. Consult and advise users on access to and performance of various databases. Collaborate directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Ensure high levels of data available and database performance. Other duties as assigned.
