Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Christus Health We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to work in Santa Fe, supporting decision‑making and reporting across the organization.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee the implementation of designated decision support applications, including financial, clinical, and costing data.
Perform daily and monthly extractions from source systems to the decision support systems or business intelligence tools.
Ensure effective integration of source systems with decision support systems by performing independent audits against feeder systems.
Provide analysis to support business development, operations, and clinical improvement projects across the enterprise.
Meet with administrative teams to develop appropriate reporting for regional or corporate needs.
Ensure data validity and integrity in associated databases.
Provide regional application support and training when necessary or requested.
Ensure regional cooperation with CHRISTUS developed standards.
Develop and maintain cost standards, including training analysts to assist department heads in creating cost standards for new products and services, and documenting and monitoring related financial procedures.
Review and test the reasonableness of cost standards, developing procedures and programs that facilitate monitoring of detailed costs for approximately 50,000 items and resolving variance issues with department heads.
Develop and maintain sophisticated processes for allocating overhead and indirect costs to replace current accounting processes.
Develop and maintain reporting processes for cost center level reporting on monthly financial activity and roll‑up summary reporting at all management levels, ensuring reports are run as scheduled, distributed, and inquiries handled.
Assist with data requests from hospital personnel using the ad‑hoc report writing function.
Propose and implement policies, procedures, and updates necessary to assure accurate data entry into the Transition database.
Share overall responsibility for the integrity of data contained in the Transition databases.
Integrate DKD payment system reimbursement data into TSI and reconcile it with the TSI database on a weekly basis at a minimum.
Develop capability to use TSI to assist in the preparation and review of corporate budgets, working with department heads to develop and review cost center level budgets.
Demonstrate competence to perform assigned responsibilities in a manner that meets organizational standards.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and other sensitive information in compliance with applicable regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required.
Work Schedule 8 AM – 5 PM Monday – Friday
