About the role A member of the service delivery team, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading business and technical analysis efforts across large, and/or complex client engagements, translating business needs into actionable solutions, and delivering transformational change and competitive advantage. Senior Business Analysts operate as key contributors and workstream leads, partnering closely with Project and Program Managers, Account Leads, and Directors. They are accountable for independently completing their workstream areas, developing client-facing artifacts, communicating with, and managing stakeholders, collaborating with fellow project team members, and ensuring high-quality execution.
Priorities
Excellent client service delivery within assigned workstreams
Lead and execute requirements definition, process design, and solution alignment
Support project team members, program execution, and delivery
Build strong client relationships and maintain business network
Actively support and participate in business development efforts
Contribute to, and strengthen, firm capabilities and knowledge
Actively participate and contribute to Forum’s culture
Assist with successful completion of Forum’s strategic plan
Responsibilities
Document processes and/or requirements for projects or program workstreams
Translate and clearly document business and technical specifications
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions
Clearly capture, assess, and document current-state processes
Assist with the development of future-state processes
Identify process improvement opportunities resulting from process flow reviews and assessments
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies across systems and processes
Support validation, testing, and implementation readiness
Manage workstream activities including risks and issues
Develop executive-ready deliverables and status reporting
Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders within their workstream
Clearly capture and report status of project/program activities to stakeholders and project/program team members
Mentor junior analysts and support team development

Expertise in process design, workflow documentation, and gap analysis

Qualifications Required experience
B.A. or B.S. degree required
5+ years of business experience
4+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role
Experience leading requirements gathering efforts
Experience with workflow and process design and process re-engineering efforts
Experience in large-scale, enterprise-wide projects, programs and transformation efforts
Experience working at different levels of an organization (C-level leadership through to line employees)
Experience acting as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tool (e.g., Power BI) skills
Experience preparing executive-ready presentations and discussion briefs
Experience with project management tools, preparing written and verbal status updates
Experience working within a project/program structure
Preferred experience
Experience in management consulting or professional services
Experience across multiple industries including Healthcare, Retail and Transportation
Exposure to Agile or Waterfall methodologies
Experience supporting change management
Experience mentoring team members
Other requirements
Ability to work onsite at client locations within the greater Seattle area a minimum of three days per week
Ability to travel as required
Ability to work in dynamic environments
Ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to work non-standard hours when needed

The pay range for this role is: 105,000 - 131,000 USD per year (Seattle Metro Area)
