Overview As a business analyst with Halliburton, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, focusing on gathering requirements, analyzing data and facilitating communication among stakeholders. This position is vital to the organizations as they ensure that business needs are effectively translated into actionable solutions, driving project success and continuous improvement.
Job Role & Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
Support the development of long-term strategic plans and corporate initiatives
Evaluate potential M&A targets, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
Build detailed financial models to assess the viability and impact of potential deals
Perform valuation analyses including DCF and comparable company analysis
Analyze financial statements and forecast future performance
Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including deal structuring and negotiations
Coordinate due diligence efforts across internal teams and external advisors
Utilize strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and propose solutions
Prepare board presentations and executive summaries
Build strong partnerships and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
Work closely with finance, legal, tax, operations, and other departments
Ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives across the organization
Support post-merger integration planning and execution
Educational Requirements
Requires an undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical discipline, plus an advanced degree in Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 2-4 years’ practical experience
