Sales Senior Specialist – Proposals Develop new sales solutions for our Turbo‑Process Solutions Product Line and provide complex technical and commercial solutions across North & Latin America.
Responsibilities
Prepare and submit broad, complex proposals and tender documentation for customers.
Negotiate contracts and lead commercial compliance, risk assessment, and contractual commitments.
Develop commercial solutions for parts, repairs, and field service transactions.
Lead the development of commercial solutions for parts, repairs and field service transactions.
Oversee a small‑to‑mid‑sized team of commercial professionals and early‑career professionals.
Uphold the integrity and governance of all commercial processes, policies and procedures.
Promote the business value propositions of Baker Hughes to customers and internal stakeholders, providing a better customer experience through solution‑based selling.
Validate risk and reward balance, considering terms, conditions, technical risks, margin and payment security.
Manage complex commercial processes involving multiple stakeholders on both client and internal sides, integrating technical, economic, logistical and financial aspects into proposal creation.
Handle diverse clients and commercial processes across North and Latin America.
Engage in medium‑to‑large sales and commercial processes within the department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum 3 years of experience rotating equipment for the gas industry.
Preferably 3+ years of experience in sales and commercial roles.
English proficiency is mandatory.
Ability to influence others and lead teams of various sizes.
Proven leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid background in rotating gas technology equipment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Experience leading programs or projects and managing medium‑to‑high profile projects simultaneously.
Skill to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Experience with commercial tools, analytical systems and platforms such as Deal Machine, BPM, ROP, OBP, Oracle.
