Job Summary The Inside Sales Associate/Backup Driver will act as a Sales Associate for the retail store by selling products to businesses and industrial customers. The associate will also fill in as a backup driver when needed.
Schedule & Benefits

Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Selling industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment. Includes soliciting sales from both new and existing customers.
Customer Support: Assisting customers via email, telephone, and in-person walk-ins. Provide guidance on equipment usage and material requirements.
Operations & Logistics: Managing loading and unloading of cylinders, operating forklifts, and serving as a backup driver when necessary.
Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to prevent supply emergencies.
Administrative & Financial: Managing accounts receivable, discussing past-due accounts and collecting payments. Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid Class B or better CDL
Must have HAZMAT endorsement
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience
Touch freight delivery experience
Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check
Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required
Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs, and occasionally lift 76-greater than 100 lbs with equipment
Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace
Adherence to safety regulations and policies
