Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol professional, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post, offering the chance to bring your experience, integrity, teamwork, and reliability to a meaningful public service role.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSun05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of activity throughout the location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, controlled access points, and perimeter areas, with working conditions that may vary by assignment.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify identification and authorization, and report unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support order within a correctional environment by documenting incidents, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized access, contraband activity, and/or disruptive conduct.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
