Job Description Quality Assurance Manager Altogether Care
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support quality across our care at home services. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in highly regulated social care environments and a clear understanding of CQC standards. You will use your experience and leadership skills to bring teams together, strengthen oversight, and support continuous improvement across services. Altogether Care is a well-established, family-run provider with over 35 years of experience delivering trusted care in our local communities. We are proud of our reputation for safe, consistent, and compassionate care. The role requires the ability to travel across branches, so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. Working Hours 40 hours per week. The Role This is a support and enabling role, focused on improving quality and reducing pressure on managers. You will not hold operational responsibility, but will work alongside managers to strengthen governance, consistency and practice. You will: Support complaints, safeguarding and investigation processes
Lead audits, spot checks and quality reviews
Identify risks and support improvement planning
Help services prepare for inspections and regulatory activity
Review trends and share learning across teams
Promote consistency, best practice and continuous improvement
Provide practical support to reduce manager workload
About The Role About You Strong understanding of CQC and working within highly regulated services
Experience in complaints, safeguarding, audits and investigations
Ability to work collaboratively and influence without direct authority
Clear, confident communication and report writing skills
Emotionally intelligent, able to handle sensitive and challenging situations
Organised, analytical and focused on improvement
Driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as the role involves travel between services.
