Consumer Electronics Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Job Responsibilities: The quality engineer will support the product development and manufacturing of consumer electronics and other products manufactured under JEM Accessories’ portfolio of national and private brands, to ensure the overall quality of manufactured products.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing product feature requirements and determining matching technical and compliance specifications.
Performing evaluation and testing of products at each stage of the development and production cycle.
Validation of functional performance as specified by the technical and compliance specifications.
Writing and/or reviewing user manual operating instructions and other customer support information.
Monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting customer complaints and QC failures to determine root causes and to ensure corrective and preventative actions.
Preparing and updating reports.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, quality engineering or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in electrical or electronic quality engineering or similar technical role.
Experience in the consumer electronics, home entertainment and/or home automation industry.
Hands‑on experience testing/evaluating consumer electronic hardware products.
Familiarity with electronic components, schematic diagrams, and electronic test equipment.
Knowledge of electronics, digital and analog circuitry.
Good writing skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and can handle a fast‑paced work environment.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking.
Ability to work well with people, building and maintaining relationships and interactions with multiple departments.
Experience with manufacturing processes is a plus.
ASQ certification preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
