Provide structured field training and mentorship to probationary and existing field employees in accordance with AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, and standards. Evaluate employee performance, document progress, and coordinate with administrative staff to determine field readiness and program completion. Conduct remedial training and performance improvement for current employees as needed. Review patient care reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved medical protocols. Participate in the review, development, and implementation of patient care protocols and operational guidelines. Ensure completion of required daily, weekly, and monthly unit check-offs and maintain operational readiness of units and crews. Serve as a professional role model by maintaining high standards of appearance, conduct, readiness, and interpersonal communication while on and off duty. Support supervisory operations by reporting deficiencies, enforcing compliance, and assuming acting supervisory responsibilities when assigned in the absence of a Shift Supervisor or Shift Lieutenant. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear Frequently is required to stand and walk Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Qualifications Qualifications
Previous EMT work experience Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training Certification & Licensure Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification Current State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification / licensure in good standing Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state) Current CPR: BLS certification Valid State driver's license FEMA IS Certifications (IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800) Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English
