Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience, client needs, and care setting) Next-Day Pay available through Tapcheck Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay Health Insurance eligibility after 60 days for employees working 30+ hours per week Teladoc Health Program - Unlimited virtual healthcare visits Retirement Savings Plan Employee Bonus and Recognition Programs Lyft Transportation Assistance to help support reliable transportation Paid Training and Ongoing Professional Development Flexible Scheduling to fit your lifestyle and availability Supportive office team available when you need assistance What You'll Do As a Home Health Aide, you will: Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed Provide medication reminders and support with daily routines Perform delegated care tasks as directed by the care plan Offer companionship and meaningful engagement activities Accompany or transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team Maintain accurate documentation and follow all agency policies and procedures Qualifications Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing exceptional care and promoting client independence Previous caregiving experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates Why Choose Right at Home Des Moines?
