ServiceNow Software Platform Engineer
GDIT is looking for a ServiceNow Software Platform Engineer to maintain the development, test, and production ServiceNow environments as well as support ongoing operations and maintenance activities and projects for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, workflow development, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades and assisting with the technical implementation of the tool. Develop and maintain service catalog items to include states, flows, and UI policies. Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps. Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities. Support the configuration of workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in Scrum process, testing, debugging, and documentation of ServiceNow modules. Experience with patching and maintaining ServiceNow system solutions in a Linux environment is a plus. Additional Responsibilities: Assist in delivering best practices for Enterprise to include ITIL, and Agile frameworks for delivering IT Services Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access control Customize the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Requests, Service Catalog while applying best practices. Support end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree with a focus in computer science, information systems, or a related field of study and at least 2-5 years of experience Possesses 1-3 years' experience implementing ServiceNow and experience with patching and maintaining ServiceNow system solutions in a Linux environment is a plus. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is preferred and considered an asset for this role Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security + CE or CSA ServiceNow Systems Administrator cert.) Clearance Requirement: Required clearance: Current/active Secret clearance required with possible TS eligibility U.S. citizenship required due to the DOW Secret clearance requirement. This position requires working onsite at the client location 5 days a week initially. A hybrid work schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote may be available after the initial period, based on project needs and client requirements. The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $142,600. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
