Infrastructure & Ops Lead The Infrastructure & Ops Lead is responsible for overseeing the ecommerce organization's IT infrastructure and operations. They work to ensure that IT systems and networks are well-maintained, secure, and available. The Infrastructure & Ops Lead often manages teams that handle tasks such as server administration, network management, system security, and IT support. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the organization's IT infrastructure to support business objectives Oversee the maintenance and configuration of servers, network devices, and data centers to ensure optimal performance and reliability Manage cloud infrastructure and services, including public and private cloud solutions, to support scalability and cost-efficiency Lead and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data and infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities Develop and implement plans to ensure the organization's ability to recover from IT disasters and maintain business continuity Monitor and forecast infrastructure capacity needs to accommodate growth and changing demands Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and service delivery Lead the response and executive reporting for IT incidents, outages, and service disruptions, minimizing downtime and impact on users Lead implementation of automation tools and processes to streamline infrastructure management and reduce manual tasks with DevOps teams Manage a team of IT professionals responsible for infrastructure and operations tasks, including hiring, training, and performance management
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in leading and managing infrastructure and operations teams Ability to oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud resources Skill in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of technology infrastructure Capability to develop and execute infrastructure and operations strategies aligned with business objectives Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation for technology infrastructure Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, security, and development Skill in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure and operations, such as cloud computing and DevOps Effective communication and leadership skills to drive technology initiatives and align them with business goals Effective knowledge of IT service management and operations best practices
