Location: 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801 Start Date: 06/29/2026 End Date: 12/29/2026 (approximate, based on contract length) Shift: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) Hours/Week: Variable due to on-call schedule Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certs: PA license required, Board Certification in Urology required Experience: Minimum 1 year (preferred 2 years)
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $2,730.00 Call Rate: $3,500.00 per 24-hour shift Call Back Pay: $437.50/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits:

What You'll Do
Provide urology consultation and support at a busy hospital hub. Perform procedures such as cystoscopy, stent placement for hematuria, and kidney stone treatment. Handle urgent and emergency cases including torsion of testicles, UTIs, and Foley catheter placements. Support inpatient rounding and collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, ER, and other providers. Cover scheduled shifts and respond to call obligations during designated periods. Maintain documentation in Cerner (inpatient) and GE Centricity (outpatient) EMR systems. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, licensure, and certification requirements.
What You Need Required: PA medical license Board certification in Urology DEA license ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 1 year of Urology experience (2 years preferred) Preferred: Experience with inpatient and outpatient procedures and emergency support.
About the Assignment Join a dynamic, busy hospital in DuBois, PA, supporting adult urology patients. This facility serves as a central hub for outlying areas such as Clearfield, Elk, and Brookville. The position offers a mix of routine and emergency procedures in a fast-paced environment, with support from a dedicated clinical team. Note: Emergency privileges can be granted within 1-2 weeks if documentation is provided promptly.
