With a flexible approach and the possibility for full-time virtual (VOCO) assignments, this role is well-suited for those who value variety and dynamic environments. Key Skills and Experience:
Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required Registered Nurse (RN) credentials Experience with or interest in serving diverse K-12 caseloads Confident in signing off on documentation and managing individualized healthcare plans Adaptable to working across multiple school locations Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee and document student health plans, managing a variety of mild to complex disabilities and needs Verify, sign off, and maintain accurate healthcare records to support compliance and student success Serve as a reliable health resource for students, educators, and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students' health and educational goals align Promote safe school environments while adapting to changing protocols
