Nursing Unit Coordinator Oversees and coordinates patient care activities of assigned nursing unit to maintain and enhance quality of patient care. Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift: Clinic hours unless need dictates otherwise Location: Walworth Hospital & Medical Center Pay Range: $62,396.55-99,834.48 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs duties of LPN. Revises, develops and implements policies and procedures and monitors compliance with the same. Interview, supervises and evaluates personnel of assigned units. Schedules unit personnel to assure efficient patient flow. Participates in planning and promoting public relations. Is flexible to work alternate shifts. Manages departmentalized budgets involving staff and materials. Participates in planning and implementing PI's and Quality initiatives. May need to work overtime on more than an occasional basis.

Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited LPN Program OR Wisconsin: Have completed the portion of the RN Program needed to obtain a certificate of completion in practical nursing. Illinois: Have completed the designated curriculum of a Ladder Option Approved Designated RN Program. Three years of LPN experience in a clinical setting, preferably with some supervisory experience Certification and Licensure Valid Wisconsin LPN License CPR Certification; Certain AHA courses such as Heartsaver or HeartCode courses do not meet Mercyhealth standards. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. Level of Supervision Supervisory responsibilities are conducted in accordance with directives of management, the organization's policies, and applicable laws.
