Overview

Alro Steel, a family-owned company, is currently seeking 2nd Shift Material Handlers/Machine Operators to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.  If you are a team player that is, dependable, safety conscious and hardworking with an attention to detail, then Alro Steel has the career for you.  No experience necessary!

Salary

Up To $23 an hour

Outstanding low cost 90/10 Healthcare benefits after 30 days of employment!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Requirements:

We offer a team-oriented environment that is designed to offer the best service in the industry.  Our material handlers work together, filling and preparing material orders for shipment to our customers, which includes operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, metal saws, shears, and lasers.  Our extensive training will prepare you to contribute to our customer service mission in the most safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

A successful candidates work history could include:

  • previous experience in operations for a metal service center preferred
  • excellent attendance
  • safe work habits
  • computer and keyboard skill development
  • a record of accurate order fulfillment.
