How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Pediatric Sonographer specializing in vascular and general ultrasound studies to ensure accurate patient care.
  • Conduct comprehensive vascular diagnostic procedures using advanced ultrasound techniques to detect peripheral vascular disease and critical obstructions in children.
  • Maintain precise clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) while coordinating findings with the interdisciplinary team for treatment planning.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during direct patient care, promptly alerting physicians to any clinical abnormalities or significant physiological changes.
  • Ensure operational excellence by managing specialized ultrasound equipment and adhering to all regulatory compliance standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
