Role Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive care to individuals and families across all ages, from children's health needs to senior care. Manage chronic and acute health conditions, prioritizing preventive care and mental health with a patient-first philosophy. Perform thorough physical assessments, interpret diagnostic results, and craft tailored treatment strategies. Collaborate with care coordinators and specialists to ensure holistic patient care. Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure meticulous patient documentation. Provide care both in-person and via telehealth to meet diverse patient needs. Education Requirements
MD or DO from a recognized medical institution. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program. Certifications
Board Certification in Family Medicine. Active medical license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain one. BLS and ACLS certifications are advantageous. Skills and Experience
Robust clinical and diagnostic capabilities, with an emphasis on preventive health. Familiarity with value-based models of care and a commitment to ongoing improvement. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork. Technologically adept, with experience in EMR and telehealth systems.
